That way, when you feel better going faster, you can increase the interval. The added endurance will mean you can hold a faster pace for longer. Anyway, I love the speed I develop at the track, but try to constantly tell myself that I shouldn't kill myself there, because I don't want to sit out with an injury. Have fun at your Turkey Trot.
