Bad Day? No Way!

Let me start off by saying that I've had a heck of a week (see post from yesterday), and it's just getting better and better (said with sarcasm)! Not only can I not open my garage door (it's a piece of crap garage that I want to tear down and rebuild soon) but my car is yet again giving me problems!

Before, you move on from this post, it's not going to be all "
woe is me" and "poor baby". So let's talk about my 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible that has seen better days. My baby is dying. :( I've put so much money into it last year (transmission among other things). Last July, new radiator, radiator cap, etc. Lots of money (maybe $3,000) spent that one time. Well, since January, my car has been losing anti-freeze again. WTF? I got a whole new radiator less than a year ago. So I've been watching it and making sure it doesn't get worse. In fact, I thought it wasn't bad at all. Mistake!

Yesterday on my 35 mile drive to class after work, my water light comes on. Crap! I look at the temp. gauge and it's all the way up on HOT! Double crap! So I call my dad and he tells me to turn the heat all the way on to help the engine. Done and it helps but man, it was HOT in there! And it was 80 degrees out! My dad said I might sweat off a couple of pounds! lol. Made it to school, buy some anti-freeze and after class, filled the sucker back up.

In a few weeks when my class is over, I'm going to take the car in to the shop.
Again. One day I'll be able to get a new one. I just don't want another car payment.

Got my bank situation with the online thief squared away. Will get my money back in 1-2 weeks.

Again, my garage door won't open (
Dad, need some help please!). Luckily, I really have nothing important in there so I don't need to use it right now.

BUT! My food yesterday? Spot-on! Fantastic! Terrific!! And I felt great about it. Not to mention that it was 80 degrees out!! Wonderful!

Here is the lowdown:

Breakfast (4 pts)
Banana
Light N Fit Yogurt & 1/3 cup Fiber One Cereal

Lunch (9 pts)
Cosi - TBM light w/ baby carrots (I like when places offer lighter versions of their food)

Before School and During School Snacks (2 pts)
1 cup Strawberries
2 small gala apples

Dinner (6 pts)
Boca Burger (original) with 2% pepperjack cheese and spinach on light whole wheat bun
Salad (Romaine Lettuce, tomato, cucumber) with Trader Joe's Champagne Pear Vinaigrette
Southhaven Farm Muffin (more below)

That dressing is so good! If you haven't tried it, please do! It has little bits of cheese in it! So good!

Total Pts Used: 21
No exercise points earned :(

I finally decided after hearing about the Southhaven Farm muffins, that I would order it myself. I finally made some of the chocolate zucchini muffins (recipe is on their site). It uses the chocolate mix. It was just ok. My mom really liked them. Me, it's tolerable. I'm going to finish them. And for 2 pts, not too bad. I'll try one of the other mixes I bought next. Have you tried these?

So it could have been a bad day for me. I could have done some stress-eating, but I chose not to. It wouldn't have helped the situation at all. It wouldn't have brought me closer to my goal. And the beautiful day helped tremendously! Hopefully the rest of the week will be just as good!
