My cousin Jessie and her husband Nick had a baby yesterday. It's their first one and we were all very excited waiting for baby Elise. She was due Friday, April 9th but the doctor advised her that she had a flat pelvis, which makes it much harder to deliver the baby the normal way. They decided to try to induce her yesterday, April 6th. After they spent all day at the hospital, the baby was not in a hurry to come out into this world! A c-section was decided and Elise was born around 10:30 pm last night. She was 8 lbs 9 oz. and 21 in. long! Whoa baby! But she is a cutie!
More on Elise to follow. Hopefully I'll get to see her tonight after work.
Now on to the eats from yesterday! I was mostly good. I did eat some candy and planned to eat some peeps at the end of the night after I got home from class, but I didn't binge and I wanted to but knowing I had to do this blog actually stopped me from binging on candy last night! Yay me!
On Tuesday and Thursday right now, I have a class. I go to school for sign language interpreting. This school is about 30 miles from work in downtown Chicago and it's in the opposite direction from my house! Needless to say, it's a long day! So my eating on these days for dinner is not consistant and sporadic since I leave right after work to get to school. I don't get home until around 10:30!
